Rolls Royce Dawn<\/b><\/h3>

The Rolls Royce Dawn has a bit of magic up its sleeve: despite being a soft-top convertible, it is whisper-quiet on the inside! It\u2019s so silent that you might forget that there\u2019s a massive gasoline-powered engine in the front. It\u2019s a 6.6-liter V12 that produces 560 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. Along with the progressive accelerator pedal, it makes driving an effortless experience. The 8-speed ZF quick-shifting transmission engine works so silently that shifts are imperceptible.<\/p>

When you drive it with the top down, you\u2019ll notice that the car makes virtually no noise. There are no squeaks or rattles of any kind, and you feel how heavy the sound deadening is. The only sounds you\u2019ll hear will be the wind in your hair and the damped whoosh of the tires beating on the pavement. The Dawn can sprint from a standstill to 60mph in less than 5 seconds! That earth-moving torque is available from such a low rpm that power is never in short supply. The Rolls Royce Dawn doesn\u2019t have a tachometer. IN THE LAP OF LUXURY<\/h3>

With the top down, the Dawn is so beautiful and gigantic that it makes you weak in the knees. It is unmistakably Rolls Royce in its slab-faced proportions and downward-sloping tail. The Dawn is derived from the Wraith two-door coupe, but don\u2019t think of it as a convertible version \u2014 80% of the exterior panels are all-new. Expensive wood veneers with consistent, carefully laid-out patterns line the rear deck that\u2019s behind the rear seats. The same wood is found in the dashboard, too, laid out with the same engineering precision as the rest of the car.<\/p>

Rolls Royce Dawn calls the convertible top opening and closing action the \u2018silent ballet\u2019. That\u2019s because the engineers have painstakingly removed all noises and vibrations from the motors. You have to see it to believe it \u2014 there is no mechanical feel to the opening or closing of the roof. It\u2019s so quiet that you only hear the final \u2018click\u2019 of the roof latch or deck lid. The soft-top itself stretches taut once closed. It was made to be aerodynamic, but not to make the Rolls more slippery, but to reduce wind noise. That\u2019s where the priorities are for Rolls Royce.<\/p>

TRUE OPULENCE<\/h3>

To step inside, you have to open one of the rear-hinged doors, another trick of the Rolls Royce Dawn Black Badge. You only have to pull the door handle, and the rest of the door opens by itself. Once you step past the enormous door sill to slide into the soft leather couch-like seat, you can close the door by pressing a little button near the A-pillar. Like the roof, there is no sound to this action, except for a click as the door soft-closes and blends seamlessly into the bodywork.<\/p>

Once inside, you\u2019re cocooned in luxurious leather and wood. Most of the interior is handmade, from the impeccably stitched leather on the doors. In addition, center console to the wood paneling on the dashboard. All the tech is from top-of-the-line German sedans, and the switches and buttons all feel like they would last a hundred years. Remember the wind noise we talked about with the top down? The bespoke sound system effortlessly drowns it out no matter what speed you\u2019re going.<\/p>
