Land Rover Defender

Most anticipated cars of 2019 Land Rover Defender

The Land Rover Defender got the ax back in 2016, but it’s making a re-appearance almost instantly. Although it never changed much in the last couple of decades, people loved the old Defender for its sheer off-road capabilities, its dependable reliability, and the cool image it provided. The new model will have an all-aluminum body and chassis, just like the Range Rover, which should make it lighter and even more capable, but Land Rover is adamant that it will stick to the original Defender’s core values. Seeing how successful Land Rover is with the Evoque and the Range Rover at the moment, we have no doubt they’ll do a stellar job of the Defender as well. We’re just hoping the SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) team gets on with the task of turning the new Defender into a proper Mercedes G-Class AMG rival. Can you imagine a new-gen Defender with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 and over 500 horsepower? It’ll be hard to choose between the AMG G63 and the SVO Defender that’s for sure. If you’re listening JLR, make it happen!
