Porsche 918 Spyder, $1 million

Hitting the $1 million mark is the amazing Porsche 918 Spyder.

Featuring an electric motor on each axle this hybrid supercar reaches 62 mph in a mere 2.6 seconds, that alone earned its place on our list for showing how hybrids can beat petrol engines without a sweat. What’s next? An all-electric Porsche supercar to compete against its closest competitor, the Tesla roadster. The plug-in hybrid 918 Spyder has already proven itself as Porsche’s most advanced model yet. This supercar has the immense horsepower and torque figures that place it in a category all its own, thanks to its three progressive motors. By blending the power of a gasoline engine with a super-efficient front and rear electric motor, the 918 Spyder leaves even some legendary sports cars in the dust. Strategically crafted for speed and extravagance, the team at Porsche Fremont couldn’t be more excited about this rip-roaring convertible. While the 918 Spyder models are limited in number, we encourage drivers in Fremont and the San Francisco Peninsula to keep an eye on our fantastic Porsche inventory for any new developments!

Five Hybrid Drive Modes

Drivers can alternate between front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive to create a customized ride, but that’s only the beginning. Drivers can also explore adaptive suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, electromechanical steering, and a multi-functional 7-speed PDK automated manual transmission at the helm. The Spyder will automatically determine the amount and direction of the gas-electric power flow when the driver picks between the five available drive modes: E-Power, Hybrid, Sport Hybrid, Race Hybrid, and Hot Lap. Whether you’re in the mood to cruise around the San Francisco Peninsula or push the 918 Spyder to its limits on the dragstrip, this plug-in hybrid sports car’s versatility offers a driving experience like no other.

One Stunningly Equipped Trim

The two-door Porsche 918 Spyder features a gas-powered 4.6L V8 engine that spits out 608 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque on its own. However, the 918 Spyder’s stellar power doesn’t end there. The engine is paired with a 129-hp front electric motor and a 156-hp rear electric motor, which are fueled by a 6.8-kWh lithium-ion battery. Combining everything under the hood, this compact powerhouse stores a total of 887 hp and 944 lb-ft of torque on tap. That’s enough power to zip from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.5 seconds. Inside the cabin, the 918 Spyder features a driver-focused design with carbon-fiber seats, soft leather surfacing, and steering-wheel-mounted drive select knobs.

Built from Front to Rear for Speed

With an angular silhouette that features a low front-end and muscular rear shoulders, the Porsche 918 Spyder appears to be in motion even at a standstill. Porsche Active Aerodynamic, a system comprised of adaptive aerodynamic features, optimizes downforce and creates a responsive ride in any drive mode. The exterior also features Porsche’s signature expressive automatic LED headlights, as well as 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels for a brawny appearance and tighter directional stability. The 918 Spyder includes a two-piece removable roof, allowing for open-top cruising whenever the mood strikes you.

McLaren Senna, $958,966

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Without a doubt, McLaren did an awesome job designing a car that resembles so closely the driver who inspired its name.

The Senna sports a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine making 789 horsepower capable to go from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Senna’s extreme agility guaranteed its spot on our list as one of the fastest production cars on the planet.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50268″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]It is the most track-focused road car we have ever built, and it will set the fastest lap times of any McLaren to date. That is what has driven us to build a track car that is unashamedly without compromise. One that is legalised for road use, but not sanitised to suit it. Nothing else matters but to deliver the most intense driving experience around a circuit.
Inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, the McLaren Senna is utterly dedicated to allowing the driver to be the best they can possibly be.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50267″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]To experience it all working in unison is truly incredible. The resulting 800kg of downforce in Race mode at significantly less than maximum speed (155mph or 250km/h) is phenomenal, and the McLaren Senna creates, maintains and controls its aerodynamic performance to ensure the driver has the confidence to explore the limits such downforce unlocks.
800PS and 800Nm from a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the most powerful internal combustion engine McLaren has ever built. 800kg of downforce made possible by pioneering active aerodynamics. The lightest McLaren since the iconic F1 with dry weight of under 1200kg. A power-to-weight ratio of 668PS-per-tonne (659bhp) that ensures it will set the fastest lap times of any McLaren road car to date. 0-124mph (0-200km/h) in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 208mph (335km/h). Next-generation carbon ceramic brakes that utilise racing technology. Discover the savage performance of the McLaren Senna.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50266″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]We think of the McLaren Senna as a race car – we have designed and built it to perform on the track first and foremost. The active aerodynamics are pioneering, and the unprecedented visibility achieved through the unique glazed doors gives the driver total confidence. Exhaustive, fearless engineering has led us to revaluate and reassess every component, no matter how small or insignificant, to maximise performance. We have used carbon fibre for the monocoque, the body and everywhere we need lightness, rigidity and strength – it is the reason the McLaren Senna is the lightest road vehicle McLaren Automotive has ever built.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

De Tomaso P72, $846,000

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

De Tomaso, the Italian supercar manufacturer best known by its Pantera model

Is finally back. Its newer model, the P72, is still under a veil of speculation especially concerning what engine it will use. However, P72’s distinctive exterior and exotic interior earned it a place in this list as one of the most beautiful supercars currently available.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50213″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]The De Tomaso P72 is a limited edition revival of the historic performance brand, coming from the same people who created the outrageous V-12-powered Apollo IE. The P72 also earned the approval of Peter Brock, designer of the original De Tomaso-Shelby P70. Here’s your first up-close look.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50212″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_single_image image=”50211″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]It was the beginning of July when the legendary name “De Tomaso” made the headlines thanks to its sinfully beautiful P72 marking the return of the brand just in time for its 60th anniversary. We haven’t heard anything about the curvaceous two-seater since then, but the P70’s spiritual successor is back in the news to reveal what will power it.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50210″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]Much like the aforementioned P70, Mangusta, and the iconic Pantera all used Ford engines, the new P72 has a Blue Oval heart. It’s a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 tuned by Roush to develop around 700+ horsepower and a maximum torque of more than 825 Newton-meters (608 pound-feet) transferred to the wheels exclusively through a six-speed manual gearbox developed by De Tomaso. The power figures will be attainable with the engine feeding on 91 octane fuel.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50209″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]The P72 has been developed as a grand tourer with an engine that will fully comply with emissions regulations in European markets as well as in the United States. A “symphonic exhaust system” is being promised, but De Tomaso says we’ll have to wait a few more months for videos and audio to actually hear the supercharged V8 sing its tune. Using the Ford Mustang GT’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 as the basis, it means owners won’t have problems getting replacement components since the engine benefits from a solid after-sales support with lots of parts available.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”50208″ img_size=”600×400″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

2020 Hennessey Venom F5

2020 Hennessey Venom F5

Hennessey is a renowned company in the high-performance automotive industry. That’s why fans’ expectations were high when they announced the Hennessey Venom F5 2020. You can bet that Venom F5’s 1,817 BHP coming out from its 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 will not disappoint any of them.

Hennessey said that electrification won’t be the future for the Venom F5. In the imminent electrified future, the Texas-based tuner would like to think of themselves as the old school guys who prefer internal combustion engine in making their cars run fast.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]While all of that is well and good, probably set in stone, Hennessey continued with the interview by disclosing some important dates for the Venom F5.
The first prototypes of the Venom F5 will be built in June with the great plan of revealing the car to customers in August at the Pebble Beach. After that, the F5 will begin testing high speeds starting from September towards the end of 2019. Last, but definitely not the list, the production-spec Venom F5 will finally be revealed in 2020.

Luxury SUV Comparison: Lamborghini Urus Vs. Rolls Royce Cullinan

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Comparing the Lamborghini Urus to Rolls Royce Cullinan is not easy.

Both are amazing super SUVs but similarities end there. Let’s take a look at their main specifications:[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”70052″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Lamborghini Urus:

  • The undisputed champion in performance terms
  • The Urus humiliates Cullinan regarding top speed and acceleration
  • It cost way less than Cullinan
  • The Urus comfort and luxury is on par from what you can expect from Lamborghini

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”70044″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https://777exotics.com/lamborghini-urus-rental/”][vc_column_text]

Rolls Royce Cullinan:

  • The King of Luxury SUVs
  • The Urus looks “cheap” when compared to Cullinan’s luxury, materials, and attention to detail.
  • It worth every dollar if what you seek is utmost luxury and comfort
  • Cullinan’s performance is great when compared to other Rolls Royce models, just can’t compete against ultra-high performance-oriented SUV like the Urus.
