Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe

Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe

Production of the Aventador started in 2011 with the regular Coupe version. When it first made its debut, people couldn’t get enough of its crazy styling, but it was the screaming V12 which captured the true essence and character of Lamborghini. A 6.5-liter V12 monster residing in the middle of the Aventador produces 700 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, without the assistance of any kind of electric motors. Coincidentally, it was also the first all-new V12 Lambo unit since the 3.5-liter found in the 350GT.

Lamborghini opted to stick with a single-clutch seven-speed transmission rather than a more modern dual-clutch, for two reasons. One, a single-clutch unit is lighter, but it also fits the Aventador’s savage character a lot more.

Rolls Royce Cullinan

Most anticipated cars of 2019 Rolls Royce Cullinan

We’re living in the golden era of motoring. Sure, internal-combustion engines are on their way out, but they’re going out with a bang. Currently, the automotive spectrum of cars available is wider than ever. With that being said, here are our favorites you can look out for in 2019

With the current craze of SUV popularity still on the rise, it’s only logical that even the more expensive brands such as Rolls-Royce had to get in on the action just to stay out of bankruptcy and increase profit. Ten years ago we would have laughed at the idea of an SUV Rolls-Royce or a Bentley, but today, people seem to be buying these cars by the millions. The new Cullinan is the answer to Bentley’s Bentayga and Lamborghini’s Urus. Although the new SUV will launch sometime by the end of this year and the beginning of 2019, we’ve already got plenty of info about it. Just like the Range Rover Sport the Cullinan uses an all-aluminum spaceframe chassis to keep the weight down, and it features Rolls’ legendary self-leveling air suspension like the one seen in the Phantom. Under the hood sits a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 with 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. Its off-road credentials remain to be seen, but as is the case with most of these luxurious SUVs, very few if any owners will take them beyond a light gravel road leading up to their mansion.

Lamborghini Aventador Brief Description

Lamborghini Aventador

When Lamborghini came out with the Countach, many thought it would not be surpassed. When they came out with the Diablo, people struggled to see how anything can possibly top it. The same later happened with the Murcielago, and it’s now happening with Lamborghini’s current flagship, the Aventador. Although it will probably go down in history as Lambo’s last proper V12 hypercar before the introduction of a new hybrid, Lamborghini made sure to send it off with a bang. Today, we take a look at the Aventador’s history and various different flavors it comes in.

Land Rover Defender

Most anticipated cars of 2019 Land Rover Defender

The Land Rover Defender got the ax back in 2016, but it’s making a re-appearance almost instantly. Although it never changed much in the last couple of decades, people loved the old Defender for its sheer off-road capabilities, its dependable reliability, and the cool image it provided. The new model will have an all-aluminum body and chassis, just like the Range Rover, which should make it lighter and even more capable, but Land Rover is adamant that it will stick to the original Defender’s core values. Seeing how successful Land Rover is with the Evoque and the Range Rover at the moment, we have no doubt they’ll do a stellar job of the Defender as well. We’re just hoping the SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) team gets on with the task of turning the new Defender into a proper Mercedes G-Class AMG rival. Can you imagine a new-gen Defender with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 and over 500 horsepower? It’ll be hard to choose between the AMG G63 and the SVO Defender that’s for sure. If you’re listening JLR, make it happen!

Next-gen Porsche 911

Most anticipated cars of 2019 Next-gen Porsche 911

We’re living in the golden era of motoring. Sure, internal-combustion engines are on their way out, but they’re going out with a bang. Currently, the automotive spectrum of cars available is wider than ever. With that being said, here are our favorites you can look out for in 2019

Next-gen Porsche 911

Nothing else defines the sports car segment like the Porsche 911 does. It’s arguably the most recognizable car on the planet, and it’s certainly the best sports/super car of all time. There’s a model variant to fit everyone, from the sane and refined Carrera all the way to the insane and mental GT2 RS. The next generation 911 will make its debut sometime next year, with a slightly tweaked exterior and some interior changes. The car will, undeniably, remain rear-engined. It’s what defines each and every 911, and part of what makes them so special. Porsche will probably opt to keep the current twin-turbo flat-six seeing they debuted it just last year, but the prospect of a plug-in hybrid 911 gets us excited. Seeing what a drastic effect on performance a hybrid drivetrain had in the Panamera, one can only assume a hybrid 911 will be even more ridiculous.

Toyota Supra

Most anticipated cars of 2019 Toyota Supra

We’re living in the golden era of motoring. Sure, internal-combustion engines are on their way out, but they’re going out with a bang. Currently, the automotive spectrum of cars available is wider than ever. With that being said, here are our favorites you can look out for in 2019

Toyota Supra

The successor to the legendary Supra from the 80’s and 90’s has been anticipated for well over a decade. Car enthusiasts have been dreaming of a new-gen Supra for over 15 years, and we’re finally getting one. The new Supra sits on a platform which is the joint effort between Toyota and BMW (the new Z4). Although these cars share some similarities, the BMW is classified as a grand tourer with the Supra playing the role of a more proper sports car. Initially, the Supra was only going to be offered with a twin-turbocharged straight-six, but Toyota has recently announced that it will also come with a smaller turbo four-cylinder, making it lighter and less expensive. Whether the new Supra lives up to the legacy of the old one remains to be seen, but if they can make an engine even half as reliable and tunable as the iconic JZ, Toyota will be sitting on a gold mine with this new car.

Even though these cars sell few thousand units globally, there are plenty of extravagant vehicles ready to surface the market in 2019. Most of the luxury car manufacturers are set to introduce complete visual makeovers of their existing lineup while others are going to bring some crisp new models. Lamborghini Urus

The renowned Italian supercar manufacturer is all set to release the much-awaited crossover. Crafted with precision and style, the Urus features a seating capacity of four. Coupled with an all-wheel drivetrain and an 8-speed automatic transmission, it spits out a whopping 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. Styled with perfection, the Urus’s price tag starts from just above the $200,000 mark.

Bentley Continental GT

The British automaker’s highly anticipated third-generation Grand Tourer is ready for production in 2019. Range Rover and G63 Rental

Range Rover and G63 Rental

When you think ‘big expensive luxury SUVs’, there are two prominent names that immediately come to mind. 1, the legendary Range Rover and 2, the equally esteemed Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. They’re both venerated with a cult following of their own. Both Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz understand this too, as the contemporary models definitely evoke the looks of their respective roots that potential prospects seemingly dote. Therefore, we’ll be comparing the two, specifically pitting the Range Rover Sport SVR against the Mercedes-Benz G63 for parity. Similarities
Both the G63 and Sport SVR follow their genesis that dates far back. In fact, the original G- Wagen and Range Rover was introduced in the 70s. Similarly, both models slowly transitioned from rugged, essentially barebones off-road prowlers into extravagant status symbols that thrives at roving around cities. Of course, it can also be argued that these are amongst the most excessive automobiles money can readily purchase. Both of them are massive SUVs powered by ridiculous forced-induction V8s driving all four wheels endowing a 0-62 mph time of around 4.5 seconds. In other words, both of these SUVs will handily tail a modern Porsche 911 Carrera 4 off the line. Both SUVs also sports driving modes for different occasions. While buyers of either model will likely never see dirt in their hyper-luxurious opulent SUVs, both models haven’t lost their innate trail expedition aptitude. Both models have locking differentials, variable ride height, solid ground clearance, low range, clever computerized terrain navigation, etc. And while going off the beaten path, you’ll be surrounded by plenty of leather and exotic materials within the cabin.

Range Rover Sport SVR
SVR in the name represents the involvement of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team in the production. Powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that puts out 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, the SVR sprints from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds all the way to 176 mph.

That said, most Range Rover Sport SVRs you’re going to see isn’t going to use even half of its neck-snapping prowess. Instead, you’ll see its other trait plainly displayed. Boasting the classic Range Rover shape and brawny, yet somehow sleek lines, it demands attention from the crowd while rolling on asphalt. While some may say it’s a tad ostentatious, there’s no denying the road presence that’s indigenous to almost all modern Range Rovers In terms of dynamics, the Range Rover Sport SVR has an edge as well. It’s relatively light at 5,093 lbs and it’s actually designed to dance around corners gracefully. You may have seen videos of one manoeuvring through the very technical Tianmen Road in 9:51. That’s an impressive lap for a 7-mile course with 99 turns. In fact, it outpaces a Ferrari 458 driven on the same road by over 30 seconds. And with all that handling finesse, you’ll still see videos of the same SUV that anyone can navigate tricky country trails in thanks to the Terrain Response 2 system.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG
It’s worth noting that the G63 AMG we’re talking about here is the latest iteration with the new V8. Powered by the 4.0-litre M178 twin-turbocharged V8, which is smaller than the SVR’s V8, it punches well above its weight class, producing 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The latter is especially remarkable when it comes to hills and overtakes. While it’s portly at 5621 lbs, the G63 AMG will certainly feel sprightly. Mercedes-AMG has somehow managed to preserve that peak torque throughout the rev range, allowing keen drivers to effortlessly surge pass cars on highways even just feathering the throttle. It’s quite comical when you remember that it’s a hefty SUV. That said, its lofty nature and weight encumbers it, compromising its cornering affinity.

It’s definitely still capable, and markedly easier to handle than the G63 it’s replacing. Its off-road capabilities are laudable, with fully-locking differentials, similarly impressive Dynamic Select terrain selection system. Although, arguably, the SVR is a more capable trekker.
Arguably, the G63 AMG is one of few cars that exhibit comparable road presence to the Range Rover. People absolutely love its decade-old muscular and geometrical styling retrofitted with modern touches. Thankfully it’s now an up-to-date SUV underneath despite conserving the classic look.
Verdict
Let’s admit it, both the Range Rover Sport SVR and Mercedes-AMG G63 are status symbols. People buy these to cruise around places like the Beverly Hills, and both will do an excellent job at that. However, I’m ever so slightly inclined towards the SVR, simply because I do love the subtle supercharger whine and thunderous, yet characterful exhaust note.

Street Photography In Beverly Hills Day 2

Street Photography In Beverly Hills Day 2 Shooting with the Nikon D3200 around 2-4 PM. Working with Tim Narrow Photography again.

Street Photography In Beverly Hills Day 2 , also sometimes called candid photography, is photography conducted for art or enquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places. Although there is a difference between street and candid photography, it is usually subtle with most street photography being candid in nature but not all candid photography being classifiable as street photography. Street photography does not necessitate the presence of a street or even the urban environment. Though people usually feature directly, street photography might be absent of people and can be of an object or environment where the image projects a decidedly human character in facsimile or aesthetic. walker reconnoitering, stalking, cruising the urban inferno, the voyeuristic stroller who discovers the city as a landscape of voluptuous extremes. Adept of the joys of watching, connoisseur of empathy, the flâneur finds the world “picturesque”.

The street photographer can be seen as an extension of the flâneur, an observer of the streets (who was often a writer or artist).

Framing and timing can be key aspects of the craft with the aim of some street photography being to create images at a decisive or poignant moment.

Street photography can focus on people and their behavior in public, thereby also recording people’s history. This motivation entails having also to navigate or negotiate changing expectations and laws of privacy, security and property. In this respect the street photographer is similar to social documentary photographers or photojournalists who also work in public places, but with the aim of capturing newsworthy events; any of these photographers’ images may capture people and property visible within or from public places.
