Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe

Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe

Production of the Aventador started in 2011 with the regular Coupe version. When it first made its debut, people couldn’t get enough of its crazy styling, but it was the screaming V12 which captured the true essence and character of Lamborghini. A 6.5-liter V12 monster residing in the middle of the Aventador produces 700 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, without the assistance of any kind of electric motors. Coincidentally, it was also the first all-new V12 Lambo unit since the 3.5-liter found in the 350GT.

Lamborghini opted to stick with a single-clutch seven-speed transmission rather than a more modern dual-clutch, for two reasons. One, a single-clutch unit is lighter, but it also fits the Aventador’s savage character a lot more.
