Exotic cars were driven in Fast and Furious
For those who love movies and cars equally, some movies are a feast for the eyes because they feature lots and lots of exotic cars. Movies in the Fast and Furious franchise are some of the topmost car movies. The characters in these movies such as Dom, Brian O’Conner, Tej Parker, and others are seen driving various luxury cars and performing heart-pounding action scenes that car lovers tremendously enjoy! Whatever may be the opinion of viewers about the Fast and Furious films, they won’t deny their supremacy in featuring exotic cars. Cars featured in the Fast and Furious movies have therefore become great hits. Here are some of them.
Ferrari
The 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider has been featured in F1 “The Fast and the Furious” for a short time. During the test drive of the refurbished Toyota Supra MK IV of Brian O’Conner and Dominic Toretto, they see a man waiting at the stoplight in the F355 Ferrari. Brian praises the car and asks its price to which the driver rudely replies that it’s a Ferrari and Brian couldn’t afford it. However, in the race, the two leave the Ferrari’s driver behind.
Even in F2 “2 Fast 2 Furious” Carter Verone owns a blue Ferrari F355 convertible.
Then the “Fast & Furious 6” features the Ferrari FXX as a minor car belonging to Tej Parker. The car can be seen only for a few seconds just at the start of the movie. An interesting fact is that it’s not an actual FXX but an Enzo Ferrari kit car.
And the “Furious 7” features a bright red Ferrari 458 Italia. All in all, you can see a good number of these lovely exotic car in the Fast and Furious movies. This is definitely going to tempt you to approach a Ferrari rental service or dealership so as to enjoy driving it!
Lamborghini
In “Furious 7”, Ramsay tracks Deckard Shaw through Abu Dhabi using God’s Eye and watches him while leaving Etihad Towers in a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador and driving the car through various streets, and finally taking shelter in an abandoned factory.
Plus, a very attractive Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 in bright orange color has appeared in F8 “The Fate of the Furious”, when Roman discovers it in the car garage of the FBI in New York City. He wishes to drive the million-dollar outstanding show car but can’t because of instructions from Little Nobody. However, at the end of the movie, the team heads to Russia, and Little Nobody allows everyone to take whatever car they want. Roman chooses the Lamborghini. But he has to drive the car through snow embankments with great difficulty.
Lamborghini is a pricey car. Fortunately, there are Lamborghini rental services available that can bring the dream of car lovers into reality to drive this wonderful vehicle!
Ford Mustang
A 1967 Ford Mustang can be seen being racing Takashi in the last part of F3 “The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift” by Sean Boswell whose father previously owned that car. In the film, the car was shown to be in need of a new engine and as the story takes place in Japan, obviously a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter “RB26” inline-six from a Nissan Skyline GT-R is chosen for the purpose. Boswell and his friends restore the vehicle so that he can race the Drift King (DK), Takashi. What a perfect choice – the Nissan engine as the Mustang’s new heart! Car lovers would be at the top of the world if they get to drive such a car at an exotic car rental or seller!
Buick
An extremely rare 1987 Buick Regal GNX makes its appearance in the 4th movie, “Fast & Furious” when Dominic Toretto strangely chooses this vehicle as his ride during a robbery of a tanker truck. The Buick, based on the Regal Grand National, was the last among the turbo Buicks with a turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 rated at 245 HP and 355 lb-ft of torque. However, those numbers were underrated as per several reports of the day. Only a little over 1,000 GNX coupes were produced.
So, how did you find this tour of Fast and Furious cars? If you have now started dreaming of owning one of them, go ahead! Buy one or visit a luxury car rental, and make your dream come true!
