The 1953 movie The Hitch-Hiker was a thriller that many people consider to be a classic. It is about an exotic car salesman who is trying to escape from a man who has been stalking him. He ends up getting into an accident and the hitchhiker in the back seat saves his life.

The Hitch-Hiker was filmed in black and white which gave it a different look than other movies of the time. It also had an interesting twist at the end – which was unusual for movies at that time.
